What is Provider Compliance?
- Implies a primary concern with the exercises of rules and regulations, to include, but not be limited to: training, service documentation, and reporting,
- It is a system of policies and procedures developed to assure compliance with, and conformity to, all applicable federal and state laws governing the organization.
What is Certification Renewal?
DODD Waiver Provider Certifications are time-limited, and granted for a term determined by The DODD not to exceed three years. If you have been Certified for more than one year, you will need to recertify at some point.
- Initial certifications issued subsequent to the effective date of the October 1, 2009 Certification Rule shall be for a term of one year.
- Renewal certifications issued subsequent to the effective date of the October 1, 2009 Certification Rule shall be for a term of three years.
